Tested: 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 Climbs into the Ring

The new Silverado ZR2 is a Chevy pickup truck that is really good at going off-road.

It has special dampers and other improvements that make it even better at driving on rugged and bumpy terrain.

At the race track, the ZR2, which weighs 5739 pounds, was able to reach a speed

of 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and complete a quarter-mile race in 14.2 seconds at a speed of 97 mph.

It was slightly slower than its top speed of 98 mph. The ZR2 was faster than Toyota's Tundra TRD Pro by 0.2 and 0.3 seconds,

but couldn't keep up with Ford's F-150 Tremor, which has 400

horsepower and was able to reach 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and finish the quarter-mile in 13.9
