Toyota orders 381,000 Tacomas with a rear axle defect to be recalled.

Toyota is taking back 381,000 of their trucks because there is a problem with how they were put together.

This could make the wheels fall off and cause an accident. Toyota will fix the trucks for free so they are safe to drive.

Toyota Orders Recall of 381,000

Toyota is asking some truck owners to bring their trucks back to the shop because there might be a problem with the part that holds the wheels in place.

If this part gets loose, it could make the truck harder to control and stop,

which could make it more likely to get into an accident.

Toyota dealers will check trucks that are part of the recall.

They will fix any nuts that are loose or replace them if needed.

They will also fix or replace any broken parts of the truck’s axle. And they will do all of this without charging any money.

The car company said they need to bring back some cars today,

so the papers on the government website aren’t ready yet, but they will be soon.

Toyota will send letters to truck owners in April.

If you’re worried about your 2022 or 2023 Tacoma being part of the recall, you can check the NHTSA website or Toyota owner website.
